All our stuff as been made copies of on separate pages on the Blank Noise according to assignment.
Everyone has uploaded different things on the blog.

Hi everyone,

It has been seen that people are posting their personal stuff on the main page. Due to the format of the blog, the post’s author isn’t displayed and no one knows who has written what.

To make this easier, I have made individual pages for all of you ( you can find them on your page) titled ‘ *Your Name*’s Reflections.

I’m sorry that I had to relocate people’s stuff without their permission to make the blog more navigable, but I ensure that no content is deleted.You can find everything on your individual member pages and sub -pages.

Please post workshop-specific reflections there. Lets keep the homepage for common stuff like upcoming events or some sort of group news.

The course is nearing its end and we have to start thinking about our final projects , and i guess most of us have atleast somethings in mind !

Apart from this Saumitra was tellling me that Geetu has something in stock for us,some idea that we can work on, i have not been able to talk to her about that ..

Blowup wants to take photography to where it belongs – to the streets of our cities. Most of us have been shooting street at one time or another now it is time to take our photography – shove our hands in some adhesive “wheatpaste” glue – and plaster away. Take back what is ours.

The Artscience people are already working with stuff like this. They are working specifically with the adruino boards for their projects.

We also have Victor in Srishti to help us with it!

I think this is really great with relation to what we are thinking of doing!

Micro spaces / public interaction

This is a really powerfull microscope made in the hacteria workshop,and it is made only of a digicam.It’s really cheap,easy to make and easy to use!

At the last day of this workshop they plan to get these devices out of the lab and use it in public spaces, for viewing materials like pond water,sewage,rust on buses, normal drinking water,etc involving the public aswell.

Similar devices are also being proposed in the area of public health, for quick and interactive medical works like blood test (it can detect micro-particles like maleria virus).

I think it is a very interesting interaction with public spaces or even spaces in general, and is also quite different from what we have been doing. Since the workshop runs on a very flexible basis, each one of us should go and check these things out.
